Well I thought I should update this thing again. My skin is still mostly clear. Lately I've gotten a few small pimples which I think is because I've been rushing when I shave and irritating the follicles. I'm still taking my vitamins and exercising, spending some time swimming and whatnot. The odd pimple here and there isn't too bad and something I can deal with.
I shall report back soon, depending on how things go.

Still clear!
Well another month and a bit has passed and my skin is still clear. However, I think there's more to it than the Accutane.
I've since dramatically changed my life. I work full time now and always eat right, lots of protein meals and nothing but fresh fruits and vegetables. I've eliminated all fast foods and junk from my diet and I'm doing weight training and running every day of the week. I've also increased my fluid intake and drink green tea 3 times a day. Finally, I've changed as a person, more confident and so forth.
But there's one thing I can't stress enough: Accutane will improve your outlook on life, not your life itself. You're still going to have to dive into who you are and make changes from within. Accutane will help you feel good about yourself which is an important ingredient, but it's still up to you to make the change.
But clear skin has definitely helped me as a person and it's been a real lifesaver. It's the first step I took into becoming a man. And I'll never look back.

Finished!
I'm finally finished by Accutane course. It was a little over 9 months and there was ups and downs as expected but more ups than downs thankfully. I'm able to face the future with bright optimism and clear skin. I'm also taking other supplements so hopefully that will help keep me looking healthy.
I'll update in a months time or so to compare my complexion with then and now. I guess it's just a matter of being positive and enjoying life.
On a side note, here's the supplements I am currently taking.
Vitamin A
Vitamin B Complex
Vitamin C
Vitamin E
Mens Multivitamin
Zinc
Flaxseed Oil
Garlic

Still kicking
Well I'm almost at the end of my Accutane course and I thought I may as well update this thing. When I'm finally finished I will update again as well as a couple months after I finish.
Accutane really is a life saver. My skin is dry to be sure and my lips too, but the clear skin is definitely worth it and the side effects are a worthy price to pay. I'm still taking 40mg a day and I've also started taking some zinc supplements to help me once I get off the Tane. I still OCCASIONALLY get a couple of small pimples, but these really are quite small and not noticeable and go away within a day or so.
I am still going strong though and trying to decide whether or not to lengthen out the script a bit more and reduce the dosage to 20mg so I can get the extra mileage out of the packet. Hopefully this will be the last time I need to take this stuff. I've been fortunate that I took it during the winter and as such, I have had minimal sun exposure, as most people do during these cold times. So hopefully during the summer I will be Tane free and able to bask in the warmness of Mr. Sun.
I'll update a little further down the track.

Week 14 - Nothing to report
Last week was uneventful really. I had 1 small pimple on the lower left of my face and two REALLY small ones on the right, which went away within a day. My skin has started getting blotchy but I think that's more from the cold weather.

Week 13 - Nothing to report
No new active pimples. Skin slightly dry, everything else fine. Going good. Almost out of pills and have to get a new box soon.

Week 12 - April Fools' Day!
Well well well. We're still steady on track and last week I had 3 small pimples. On the plus side, they healed very fast, going away within 1-2 days. Currently my skin is looking great. There is a 1 small little bump on the right side of my face which you can hardly see and I expect it to clear up within a day or two so I can be nice and clear for the weekend.
I've cut down completely on alchohol and junk food. I'm not in a strict workout regime and I'm feeling and looking good. I'm also taking lots of protein lately and it doesn't seem to be making things worse so I will stick with it. I'm still remaining positive and I've seen such great results. I guess technically I'm now 3 months into the treatment. I've still got another 3 months worth of prescriptions left and I'm sure it will continue to get better.
